This Science of Self Lab is a deeper dive into understanding yourself and others and it relates to normal BEHAVIOR and DRIVING FORCES. The Shandel Group Clarity Report utilizes TTI’s most popular sciences and online learning platform to begin your journey toward mastery of these Sciences.


The Science of Self Lab 1 has six 60-minute classes that serve to supplement and enhance the self-guided LEARN platform online education modules and Reference Manual for DISC and Driving Forces. Get the level of training you desire to confidently debrief and/or train others in DISC, and Driving Forces.


The Science of Self Lab 2 builds upon DISC and Driving Forces by integrating the science of Emotional Intelligence.


This program moves very fast and our live classes are designed to facilitate a deeper understanding of the LEARN videos and online materials. Think of it as the place to ask questions, share your insights, get clarification, and practice your debrief skills with other classmates.

COACHES

Dr. Scott Sutherland, has 20 years of hands-on leadership experience as a practicing dentist until he sold his business in 2021 to pursue a dream to work alongside his wife Shandel as a member of her Coaching/Leadership team. Scott’s success as a Dentist is owed to the tools he received and utilized through the Shandel Group principles, that he now teaches and trains others to follow. Scott has a passion for the behavioral sciences and has fully embraced the Clarity Report we use as Shandel Group Consultants with our clients. Scott hosts our podcast, “Lead With Clarity” and writes a weekly coaching tip based on the Sciences of Self, we call “66 Seconds with Shandel Group.” Scott has several certifications including the Sciences of Self through Target Training International (TTI) in DISC, Driving Forces, and Emotional Intelligence (EQ.)


Melanie Montgomery has 11 years of leadership experience in the Hospitality and Gaming industries. Her love of managing people led her to attain a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. She was able to practically implement the OD theories to improve the health and financial performance of her organization, loving every minute of it. Melanie joined the Shandel Group team not only as a coach, but a key strategist to structure our organization and take us to the next level. Melanie is a board member for Native Action Network, a nonprofit developed to create a space for Native women to thrive while developing their leadership abilities. She is dedicated to being a lifelong learner and helping others along their journeys. Melanie is certified in DISC, Driving Forces, and Emotional Intelligence (EQ.)
